Michael R. Kunze, age 66 of Seguin, passed away on April 14, 2019. Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. at San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin with Rev. Jim Craver officiating. Michael was born on June 10, 1952 in Seguin, Texas to Robert Albert and Evelyn Alma (Jubela) Kunze. Michael worked for Ford Motor Company in Seguin for 40 years as a master mechanic. Most recently he lovingly cared for the grounds at San Geronimo Cemetery. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his sister, Sandra Kunze Sickorez; nephews, Matthew Sickorez and wife Catherine, and Jeffrey Sickorez and wife Abbey; great-nephews, Nathan Sickorez and Logan Sickorez; cousins, Danny Trusler and wife Debi, Judi Neville and husband Shep, Jimmy Schmidt, and Ronny Jubela; dear friend and former brother-in-law, Donn Sickorez; special friends, Jesse Atzger and wife Deloris, and Shirley Hester and husband Doug; and many other friends.
