Mildred Dix, age 95 of Seguin, passed away on March 25, 2014. Visitation will be at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 3 to 7 p.m.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Neil Kibbe and Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Mildred was born on September 26, 1918 in Guadalupe County to William Thomas (Tom) and Nancy (Seay) Springs. She was proud to have been a long time Board Member of the San Geronimo Cemetery Association. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Dix, her parents, brothers, Frank and Virgil (Doc) Springs, sisters, Ollie Knodel, Viola Kenedy, Bessie Snowden, Alta Cornell, Lora Lee Day and infant sisters, Georgie, Zelma, Virgie and Eunice Springs. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Ann Funderburg and husband Tom and Kathryn (Kathy) Brady and husband Donald; grandchildren, Nancy Ayotte and husband Chris, Margaret Anderson and husband Pleas D. (Beau), J. W. Funderburg and wife Dorothy and Norman Funderburg; great- grandchildren, Amber Delagarza and husband Dan, Megan Hale and husband Buddy, Ryan Ayotte and wife Alisha, Kyle Ayotte, Tifny Funderburg, Cutter Funderburg, Codi Funderburg and Kristen Vecera and husband Trent; great- great grandchildren, Gabriella Hale, Dylan Hale, Emma Ayotte, Alana Delagarza, Brody Vecera and Brynlee Vecera; sister-in-law, Dorothy Dix; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be J. W. Funderburg, Norman Funderburg, Chris Ayotte, Pleas D. "Beau" Anderson, Ryan Ayotte, Kyle Ayotte, and Cutter Funderburg.
