Monty Leon Cox, age 80, of Seguin formerly of Beeville, passed away on April 6, 2012. Memorial graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville with Bill Davis Jr. officiating. Monty was born in Bee County on April 4, 1932 to Terry and Lela Ballard Cox. His parents preceded him in death as did his brother Terry Cox and sisters Zoe Bond and Fay Bowe. Survivors include his son Terry Cox and wife, Carol of Corpus Christi, seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Monty served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Coast Guard. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. He will always remain a part of our lives and we treasure his memory and the love he shared with all of us.
