MSGT William Kenneth "Ken" Russell, Jr., USAF (ret.), age 73 of San Antonio, Texas passed away on December 9, 2018. Graveside services and interment with full military honors will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Ken was born on March 5, 1945 in Salem, Massachusetts to William Kenneth Russell, Sr. and Mary Agnes Hennesy Russell. He proudly served his country for over 23 years in the United States Air Force and served two tours of Vietnam including countless temporary duty trips. After retirement from the military he worked for 20 years at Lockheed Martin. Ken enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling in his RV. He also enjoyed finishing furniture. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Russell; daughters, Pam Luper and husband Gary Luper; and Corinne Isbell; son, Mark Russell and wife Katrina Eilers Russell; grandchildren, Ariel Reddell, Kaitlyn Reddell, and Sydney Isbell; grandson, Ethan William Russell; sister, Catherine Grimm; nephew, Kenneth DeBaun; niece, Erin DeBaun; other loving family members and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to any Wounded Warriors Project of choice.
