Nadine Martha Saathoff Petty, age 76 of Seguin, passed away on September 15, 2017. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Interment will follow in the Elm Creek Community Cemetery. Nadine was born on March 18, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas to John Henry and Lillie (Schwarting) Saathoff. She is preceded in death by her daughter Deanna Lee Petty and her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Alvin L. Petty; daughter, Lana Zunker and husband Darryl; son, Alvin L. Petty, Jr. and wife Lori; grandchildren, Kaci Gibbons and husband Ben, Kade Zunker and wife Amanda, Kendyl Zunker, Alvin Lee Petty, III, and Taylor Petty; great-grandchildren, Jakob, Blaine and Harper Gibbons, and Lucas Zunker; brother, Michael Saathoff and wife Karen; brother-in-law, James Petty and wife Mary; sister-in-law, Mary Margaret Fisk; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Kade Zunker, Jason Petty, Alvin Petty, III, Ben Gibbons, Michael Saathoff, and Jakob Gibbons. Honorary pallbearer will be Blaine Gibbons. The family would like to thank Dr. Randall Bell for his loving care of Nadine. Memorial contributions may be made to any children's health charity of choice.
