Nathan O. Wehe, age 70 of Seguin, passed away on June 7, 2011 following a short battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard Mittlestadt and Pastor Craig DuBois officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston at 2:30 p.m. Nathan was born on July 13, 1940 in Yorktown, Texas to Henry E. Wehe and Leona Marie Metting Wehe. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1958. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Southwest Texas State University. Nathan was associated with Texas Lutheran College from 1963 to 1977. He then had his own software development co., NOW Computer Systems. An active member of Grace Lutheran Church he faithfully served as treasurer. He was also the treasurer for Thrivent Financial. Nathan is preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law, Jim Dlugosch. Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Wehe; sons, Nolan Wehe and wife Kristie and Rodney Wehe and wife Kauy; grandsons, Ryan and Caden Wehe; mother, Leona Wehe; sisters, Kathrine Boldt and husband Buddy; Joycelynn Onken and husband Lawrence, Marion Hoefling and husband Roy, and Nellene Dlugosch; sister-in-law, Shirley Arnold; aunts, Mildred Metting and Lillie Mae Metting; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be missed by his faithful dogs, Windy and Bunny. He loved spending time with his family and playing 42. Nathan's nephews will serve as pallbearers.
