Norma Jean Hill, age 82 of Seguin, passed away on March 27, 2018. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor W. C. McIntyre officiating. A reception will follow at the Lifegate Ministries Fellowship Hall. Private interment will take place at a later date at Zion Hill Cemetery #2. Jean was born on December 4, 1935 in Pleasanton, Texas to Herbert, Sr. and Norma (Chuter) Schubert. Jean loved and was passionate about Jesus, her family and the Guadalupe County Jail Ministry. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Frances Jean "Fran" Wilson, her great-granddaughter, Giovanna Grace Cascarella, her son-in-law, Allen Miller, her parents, and her siblings, Herbert Schubert, Jr., Anita Bullard, Shelia Holt, Shirley Shea, and A. J. Schubert. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Francis Larry Hill; her sons, Clay Hill (Yvonne), David Hill (Myra) and Craig Hill (Lori); son-in-law, Albert Wilson; grandchildren, Micah Wilson, Rebecca Cascarella (Anthony), Gabriel Hill (Alicia), Daniel Hill, Jennifer Hill, David Hill, Steven Hill, Jr. (Melissa), Bryson Hill and Katie Hill; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Schubert (Melina), and Jim Schubert (Diane); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.
