Norma B. Schievelbein, age 96 of Seguin, passed away on August 6, 2008. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2008 from 12 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at San Geronimo Cemetery with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Norma was born on February 6, 1912 in Guadalupe County, Texas to Fritz and Martha Krackau Braune. Her parents precede her in death as do her husbands, Arno C. Dietert and Louis Schievelbein, brother, Egon Braune and sons-in-law, James Tschoepe and Wayne Reininger. Survivors include her daughters, Martha Lea Ranft and husband John, Bernice Tschoepe and Gloria Reininger; brother, William Braune; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
