Patricia E. Owens, age 78 of Seguin, formerly of Elgin, passed away on September 30, 2026. Patricia was born on April 26, 1948, in Panama City,
Florida to Elender Louise (Cliett) and Billy Richard Elder.

Patricia retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 40 years of faithful service. She enjoyed rooting for the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. Her favorite times were always spent with her grandchildren who knew and loved her as "Mimi".

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William R. Elder.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy Harrison and husband Terry; son, Donnie Owens; grandchildren, Justin C. Maynard, Caitlyn Maynard, and Hannah Maynard; sister, Ginny Pippin; nephew and nieces, Colby Elder, Kelly Johns and husband Brent, and Melissa Elder; other loving family members and many friends.

A memorial service celebrating Patricia's life will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Seguin, with the Reverend Dan Cave officiating. 

Graveside services and interment will follow in Panama City in the Spring or Early Summer of 2027.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Owens, Justin Maynard, Terry Harrison and Colby Elder.
