Pat Burroughs, age 75, passed away on October 18, 2013. A memorial service celebrating Pat's life will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Cross Church with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date. Pat was born February 16, 1938 in El Campo, TX to Alva D. Boggs and Wanda E. Leach. She loved cooking, dancing, gardening and crocheting. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Geronimo. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Ronnie "Sissy" Merle Michalec, grandchild, baby boy Randy Cornett, and son-in-laws, Ray Palmer and Steve Carter. Survivors include her husband Frank Burroughs; children, Roxanne Hubbell and husband David, Vicky Cox and husband Skip, Ron Michalec and wife Margaret, Leah Barnett and husband Steve, Sheila Palmer, Jody Ward, Karen Gold and husband Russell, Tammy Carter and Mark Burroughs and wife Debbie; 28 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; siblings, Bubba Boggs, Gene Boggs, Nancy Hiser and Donna Leach and numerous nieces and nephews.
