Paul (Poopie) Frederick Fritz, age 76 of Seguin, passed away on May 5, 2012. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 10 at 1:00 pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. "Poopie" was born on Oct. 6, 1935 in Seguin,Texas, to Paul Frederick Fritz, Sr. and Mary Evelyn Baer Fritz. He was a graduate of Seguin High Class of 1953 and Texas A&M Class of 1957. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Fritz. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Sally Fritz; children, Mary Ann Jackson and husband Alan, Paul F. Fritz III, and wife Patty, Michael Jay Fritz, Philip D. Fritz, and Margaret Herrmann and husband George; sister Mary Ann Jorgensen and husband Fleming(Skip); sister-in-law, Dena Fritz; brother-in-law, Roger Cutcher and wife Renee, grandchildren, Jill House and husband Dean, Ann Jackson, Jennifer and Sally Fritz, Taylor, Allie and Andrew Herrmann; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Charles Baer, Robert Blevins, Lester Brawner, Bill Burges, Roger Cutcher, Bill Faye, Eddie Forshage, Bill Henze, Skip Jorgensen, and Ralph Schmidt. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 510 S. Camp, Seguin,Texas 78155 or the Texas A & M University charity of choice.
