Paul Alfred Glenewinkel died Thursday January 24th at the age of 63 in Houston Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church in Seguin at 9:30 am with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Paul was a graduate of Seguin High School and owner of Northwest Orthodontics in Houston Texas. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Judge Henry Glenewinkel and Josephine Grein Glenewinkel along with brother in law Wayne Dietz. Paul is survived by wife Robin and children, Grace and Grant Glenewinkel, brothers, Lynn (Claire), Michael (Cindy) and sisters, Rebecca Dietz, Susan Kees, and Ann Hartmann (Jeff), along with numerous nieces and nephews. Paul instilled ethics of work and humility as well as principles of altruism, faith and devotion to family in his two children, Grace and Grant. Paul an avid outdoorsman, said he'd prefer life as a cowboy to the comforts of modern living; spending time at the ranch hunting and fishing and never missing a deer season. He will be missed for his simple sensibilities as well as his kindness he shared with family, friends and strangers alike.
