Paul Grant Hankins, age 75 of Seguin, went to be with Jesus at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014. He was born in Dallas Texas on September 28, 1938 to Granderson and Julia Hankins. On June 14, 1958 he married and is survived by his high school sweetheart, Norma Wilson Hankins. Also surviving are his children, Scott Hankins and wife Pam of Seguin, Mica Meyer of Tennessee, Jeff Hankins of California and Rebekah Carwile and husband Eric of Dallas; grandchildren, Cody Moore, Lacy Koehler and husband Matt; Andrea Mullen and husband Michael, Preston Hankins, Hannah Hankins, Audrey Hankins, Matthew Meyer and wife Hayley, Julia Meyer, Joshua Meyer, Diego Hankins, Marlo Hankins, and Dax Hankins; great-grandchildren, Braden Koehler, Landon Koehler and Elyssia Meyer; sisters, Emma Molina and husband Julian and Paulette Davis all of Dallas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends. Paul's parents and son-in-law, John Meyer preceded him in death. Paul's love for the Lord was evident to all who knew him and in all he did. His legacy of faith will live on in the lives of all those touched by it. He will be missed but we rejoice knowing that he is home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Robert K. Odom officiating. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery. A reception will follow at Lifegate Ministries Fellowship Hall. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Jaynes, Ron Soefje, Rick Johnston, Dusty Johnston, Tim Dudley, Louis Garza, Tink Herzog, Jim Lee and Wayne Roberts.
