Paul Matthew Schlogel, age 47 of McQueeney, passed away on October 2, 2016. A memorial service celebrating Paul's life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Elks Lodge #1229, 1331 C. H. Matthies Jr. Dr., in Seguin. Paul was born on October 14, 1968 in Chicago Illinois to Paul Joseph Schlogel and Marlene Jean Nagy. Paul was a manager at Caterpillar Inc. in Seguin. He loved music, playing drums, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Gina Sands, his uncle, Dominic Nagy, and his step-mother, Corrine Schlogel. Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Stacie Schlogel; children, Mikaylah Jordan Schlogel, Vaughn Matthew Schlogel, Tristan Glenn Schlogel and Brandon James Archer and wife Brittany; mother, Marlene Nagy; father, Paul Schlogel; brothers, Robert Guthrie and wife Raven, and Jim Superits and wife Robin; sisters, Diane Clark and husband Kylie, and Denise Emery; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn and Gaynell Boswell; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.
