Pete will be remembered as a hardworking man, who did what needed to be done to provide for his family. He was always willing to help a family member, or friend in any way he could. Pete truly treasured spending time with his family, and was usually the life of the party. He loved to fish, shoot darts and pool, and enjoyed taking frequent trips to gamble at the casinos. His true passion was being in front of a smoke-filled BBQ pit, cooking anything and everything, but particularly his infamous chicken. He participated in numerous BBQ cook-offs, and always helped with benefits. When he wasn't working or bbq'ing, he could be found outside doing yardwork, working on his truck, tinkering in his shed, or walking his beloved dog, Skippy. Being an avid Spurs fan, family and friends are encouraged to wear their favorite Spurs gear in honor of his favorite team. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Jose Ramirez (caretaker), as well as Julia, Norma, and Karen with Heart to Heart Hospice for your care and compassion for Pete.
