Peggy Sue Stidham Maddox

Mom Peggy was one of the most beautiful people inside and out. She loved harder than anyone, she really loved animals and children. Her family was everything to her. She loved her grandkids so so much. She often spoke so fondly of her childhood, how much fun she had even though there often wasn't much. She loved to cook and create. Art was a big escape for her. Peggy was born on July 6, 1962 in Seguin, Texas to Charles Stidham and Mary Brown Stidham Rieger and they preceded her in death.  Also preceding her in death was her step-father, Gilbert Rieger and her brother Steven Stidham.  Peggy passed away on February 26, 2021 at the age of 58.  She is survived by her son Aidan Martinez, beloved husband Mark Maddox her beautiful grandkids and her siblings, Kevin Rieger, Robert Stidham, Karen Bennet and James Stidham and many other family members.  A memorial service celebrating Peggy's life will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Guadalupe County Humane Society, P. A celebration of life in honor of Mom Peggy will be hosted on Saturday, March, 13 2021 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Pavilion across from the waterfall at Starke Park.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 2 pm at Kingsbury Cemetery with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
