Penny Lou Hamilton Lippe passed away on June 30, 2015. Her service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 6th, at Hillcrest Church in Seguin with Rev. Mike Rodriguez officiating. Penny was born October 31, 1948, in Cuero, Texas, to Fred Barnett Hamilton and Marjorie Louise (Schmidt) Hamilton. Penny graduated from Yorktown High School and continued her education at Texas Lutheran College, receiving a BA in Education, with a minor in Music in 1970. It was through her student teaching service that Penny met Don, a teacher, at Mary B. Erskine. The two were married in 1972. Penny began teaching with Seguin ISD in 1970 and continued to teach for 40 years. Upon retirement, Penny and her husband, Don, spent time traveling together and enjoying spontaneous excursions. She also dedicated herself to being a full-time "Grandmommy" to her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Penny is preceded in death by her father, Fred Hamilton and her mother Marjorie (Schmidt) Hamilton. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Don Lippe; daughters: Erin Lippe, and Keri (Lippe) Kizginyurek - husband Ali Kizginyurek; grandchildren: Trinity, Kaden, Jacee, Isla, Ever, Micah, and Luke; great-grandchild: Jericho; brother-in-law: Larry Lippe - wife Rhonda (Richards) Lippe; sister-in-laws: Marilyn (Hennig) Lippe, Carol (Lippe) Weschke - husband Raymond Weschke, Janet (Lippe) Hestilow - husband Cliff Hestilow, Sarah (Gulledge) Lippe, and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other loving family members and many friends.
