Pete Salinas Rodriguez, age 81 of Seguin, passed away on April 1, 2018. Visitation will begin on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Gabriella Cortez officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date. Pete was born in Karnes City, Texas to Pedro Leyva and Santos Salinas Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Eugenio Rodriguez and his sister, Maria Jones. Survivors include his partner, Elizabeth (Liz) Lozano; his children, Rachel McCaffrey and husband Mike, and Peter Molina; grandchildren, Michael Aguilar and wife Lindsey, Joshua and Kaitlyn McCaffrey; great-grandchildren, Lydia and JoAnna Aguilar; sisters, Josie Rose and Eva Cedillo; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
