Prudencia Belmarez Bencomo, age 87 of Seguin, passed away on April 7, 2009. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Tres Hewell Mortuary followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Friday, April 10, 2009 at 8:30 for funeral services at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery. Prudencia was born on April 29, 1921 in Seguin, Texas to Moses, Sr. and Concepcion Ramirez Belmarez. Her husband, Pablo Bencomo, Jr., precedes her in death as do her parents and daughter, Lucia Bencomo and 14 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Alisia Bencomo; sons, Pablo Bencomo, III and wife, Beatrice and Ralph Bencomo and wife, Enriqueta; grandsons, Marcel Martinez, Mario Bencomo and wife, Joanna, Joseph Bencomo, Matthew Bencomo, Mark Bencomo and Eli Garcia and wife, Casey; great-granddaughters, Mia Bencomo and Isabella and Kayla Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews.
