Randall Scott Crist

Randall Scott Crist, age 79 of Seguin, passed away on July 23, 2026. Randall was born on August 3, 1946, in Burlington, Iowa to Beula Darlene (Jones) and Verle Leroy Crist. Randy was fortunate to live in many places in Europe and the US. It was in France that his love of motorcycles was ignited driving him to make one from parts.

Randall proudly served his country in the United States Navy. While in the Navy Randy was married to Sylvia and had a daughter named Jennifer Kenner. Randys second marriage to Betty McKnight produced their only child Noah McKnight Crist. He will also be remembered as a twenty-year employee of Motorola where he made many friends and supported his family.

Randy enjoyed being on the water, he had owned a catamaran and a 24-foot Windrose sailboat, often sailing around lake Travis in Austin. Later he became enchanted with saltwater fishing and purchased two lots of the coast of Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son Noah Crist; brothers, Charles Crist and Raymond Crist; and cousin, Barry Crist. Also, his k9 companion Angel.
