Rebecca "Becky" Ann Miller, 60, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on January 12, 2016 surrounded by her family in Seguin, TX.
She was born Rebecca Ann Middleton on March 29, 1955, in Brownsville, Texas to Maurice and Margarita Middleton.
Becky graduated from Villa Maria High School in 1973 and finished her higher education at Pan American University in Brownsville. She married John Loren Miller in 1978 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Becky was a resident of Seguin, TX since 1996 when she moved there from Brownsville. She was active in St. James Catholic Church and was a member of Catholic Daughters of America as well as St. Ann's Circle. She also was a former board member of the Christian Cupboard of Seguin where she volunteered much of her time and where she made many dear friends.
Becky enjoyed traveling with family and made numerous life long friends from her travels. She was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren - whether at home, on vacation and especially at the beach.
She was preceded in death by her father Maurice (Boots) Middleton and mother Margarita Middleton.
Left to treasure their memories of her is her loving husband Loren Miller, her sons Loren (Erica) Miller, Jr. and David Miller, daughter Carolyn (Kris) Wood and her brothers, Robert Michael (Jean) Middleton, David (Donna) Middleton, and Paul (Ninfa) Middleton, and her beloved grandchildren Vivian and Olivia Wood and Tristan Miller, her brother-in-law, Morgan (Helen Ann) Miller, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.
The Miller Family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to family and friends for their prayers and special gratitude to Regina Lee for her support and care given to Becky.
A visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary in Seguin on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. A rosary recited by the Catholic Daughters of America and St. Ann's Circle, will be on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. A reception will follow at the Catholic Daughters of America House. A memorial service and rosary will be held at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Brownsville, TX at a later date. Private Interment will be held at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Morgan Miller II, Leon Van Holsbeke, Clyde Schumann, Joseph Robles, Jamie Ranft, and John Wood.
