Rebecca E. Sotelo, age 62 of Seguin, passed away on February 25, 2010. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin again Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Rebecca was born on December 26, 1947 in Beeville, Texas. Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Victor Sotelo, Sr.; daughters, Sandra M. Sotelo, Sarah Leal and husband Robert, Sonia Sotelo Rodriguez and Stephanie Sotelo Menchaca and husband Tony; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her son, Victor Sotelo, Jr., mother, Irene Lozano, sister, Rachel Trevino and twin sister, Rose Marie Shaw. Serving as pallbearers will be Roland Gutierrez, Jr., Steven Gutierrez, Joshua Ryan Urbano, Jason Leal, Jared Leal and Tony Sotelo.
