Obituary

Regan Cary Wiedner, age 51 of Marion, passed away on December 2, 2013. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Redeemer United Church at Zuehl at 10 a.m. with Rev. Lee Zillmann officiating. Interment will follow in the Redeemer United Church Cemetery. Regan was born on May 11, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas to Elmon W. and Irene Wolter Wiedner. He graduated from Marion High School in 1980. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union No. 142 for 32 years. Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Michele E. Wiedner; daughter, Amanda Wiedner; son, Staton Wiedner; parents, Elmon and Irene Wiedner; brother, Royce Wiedner and wife Kathy; sisters, Robin Veytia and husband Roberto and Reba Wiedner; nieces, Ariana Veytia and Whitney Wiedner; nephews, Nicolas Veytia and Michael Wiedner and wife Amber; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dalvin and Weetona Granzin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Candyce Schumann and husband David, Gary Granzin, Mark Granzin and wife Linda, Dawn Brooks and Michael Granzin and wife Gwen; numerous other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Gerth, Darrell Froboese, Jeff Royal, Jeremy Reisdorf, Nelson Froboese, and Larry Brietzke. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union No. 142. Regan will be remembered as an avid hunter and gardener who loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed. Memorial contributions may be made to Redeemer United Church, 7415 Gin Road, Marion, Texas, 78124.
