Rene D. Gonzales, age 46 of Miami Florida, formerly of Seguin, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2017.  Visitation will begin on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 5 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. at La Trinidad United Methodist Church with Rev.  Rudy C. Herrera officiating.  Interment will follow in Santo Tomas Cemetery.  Rene was born on August 29, 1970 in Floresville Texas to Noel and Susie (De Hoyos) Gonzales.  He was employed with REMAR USA Christian Ministries in Miami, Florida, where he volunteered every day of his life to serve his Lord and minister to those in need.  Survivors include his parents, Noel and Susie Gonzales; sister, Jessica Gonzales DeLany; nieces, Kelsey Noelle Guerrero and Robyn Renee DeLany; aunts and uncles, Benny De Hoyos and wife Eloysa, Stella Rodriguez, Helen Holland and husband Edward, Nancy Gutierrez and husband Ralph, Frances Rodriguez and husband Billy, Olga Gonzales, Oralia Herrera and husband Rudy, Elia Soliz and husband David, and Denise Gonzales; numerous cousins, other loving family members and many friends.  Serving as pallbearers will be Antonio Nazario, Joel Lugo, Kyle Lugo, David Soliz, David Soliz Jr., Johnny Guerrero and Willie Guajardo Jr.  Memorial contributions may be made to REMAR USA Christian Ministries, 1871 NW 62 ^nd St., Miami Florida, 33147.
