Richard Allen Dabbs, age 63 of McQueeney, Texas, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Richard was born on April 27, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan to Richard Stone and Donna Jean (Mawby) Dabbs.

Richard had such a wonderful, fulfilling life. He so much enjoyed spending time with his beloved family, never missing a family gathering, he was a devoted father and grandfather, and he treasured his family history spending time learning all he could about his lineage. He loved spending time outdoors and taking care of his plants, or working on his cherished Camaro.

In his downtime, you would always catch him playing his favorite game "Farmville" with his best friend "Bowie" his loving Frenchie by his side.

He enjoyed good food, music, and fashion, you could always count on Richard to make you a fantastic drink and be a great friend at any time of day. He will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love him.

Richard is preceded in death by his father, Richard Stone Dabbs; brother, Chris Dabbs; grandparents, Robert and Clemencia Hernandez; aunts Hazel Boldridge and Patricia Burger and uncle, John Dabbs.

Survivors include his loving husband, Joseph Pruett; mother, Donna Jean Dabbs; his beloved French Bulldog, Bowie, cats, Chunk, Homer, and Telsa; son, Anthony Dabbs; daughter, Christina McGannon; step-children, Timothy Pruett and Catherine Buck; 6 grandchildren; brother, Lee Dabbs; sisters, Renee Gonzales and Bridget Jacobs, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving family members, and many many friends.
