Richard Lee "Dick" Graxiola, age 82 of Seguin, passed away on January 7, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville officiating. Private graveside services and Interment with military honors will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date. Dick was born in Monterey California on May 2, 1933 to Thomas and Ida (Miller) Graxiola. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and upon retirement went to work for the Texas Department of Corrections and retired in 1991. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Peggy Jean Graxiola of Seguin; son, Mike Graxiola and wife Debbie of Kerrville; grandson Paul Graxiola and wife Jennifer of Denison; granddaughter, Trisha Eckols and husband Wiley of Seguin; great-grandchildren, Eli and Audrie Graxiola of Denison, and Garrett and Gracie Eckols of Seguin; brother-in-law, David Standridge and wife Judy of Kerrville; nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.
