Richard A. Hawkins, age 42 of Seguin, passed away February 7, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Country Church in Marion with Pastor Butch Ikels officiating. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery. A reception will follow at Nolte Island. Richard was born on March 11, 1966 in Seguin, Texas to Bobby Hawkins and Linda Smith Martinez. Richard is preceded in death by his mother. Richard is survived by his wife, Rhonda Hawkins; parents, Bobby and Georgette Hawkins; siblings, Audra Hawkins, Dale Hawkins, Christy Hawkins, Jamie Hawkins and Susan Evans; grandmother, Lillian Smith; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Ruby Mullins; 7 nieces and 3 nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dale Hawkins, Kenny Boeder, Ed Cassin and Hugh Sprott. Pallbearers will be Frank Pooley, Matt Engbrock, Lance Siltmann, Larry Williams, Marc French, Austin Ridgeway, Clay DeLaney and Ron Swartz. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any children's charity of choice.
