Robert "Bob" Eugene Bennett, Jr., age 72 of Seguin, formerly of Denver, Colorado passed away after a brief illness on June 21, 2011. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Olinger Highland Mortuary in Thornton, Colorado Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Olinger Highland Chapel Mortuaries in Thornton, Colorado. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Bob was born on August 10, 1938 in Torrance, California to Robert E. Bennett, Sr. and Pearl Reeder Bennett. Bob and Jan moved to Seguin seven years ago where he worked in the Hardware Department at Wal-Mart. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Bennett and sister Virginia Brown. Survivors included his loving wife, Janell (Jan) Bennett; children, Georgia Branch and husband Vincent, John Bennett and wife Christine, Richard Bennett; step-sons, Rod Hunt and family and Ed Hunt and family; siblings, Joan Kaylor, Don Bennett and wife Penny, Phyllis Dowell, Anita St. Germaine, Bill Bennett and wife Norma; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; Memorial contributions may be made to The Robert E.
