Robert "Bob" Harold Wall, age 67 of Seguin, passed away on January 10, 2018. A memorial service celebrating Bob's life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Pomeroy officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date. Bob was born in Salzburg, Austria on December 17, 1950  and adopted by  Lt. Col. J. V. and Helen (Eddy) Wall. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend to many. He loved to ride his trike with his wife sitting behind him. He loved cooking for family and friends, opening up new taste treats for many. He knew the full scope of the business from the butchering of the animal to the preparation and putting it on the plate to be served. Bob is preceded in death by his son, Erik Jay Wall, his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John Louis and Hilda E. Mondin, brothers-in-law, Edward Lee Mondin, Leslie Mondin, and Johnnie Mondin, sisters-in-law, Theora Mondin, June Mondin and Angie Byrne. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Helen A. Wall; sisters, Linde Mackinger and husband Walter of Salzburg, Austria, and Kathleen Byrne of Edmonton, Alberta; brother, Tim Byrne of Calgary, Alberta; brothers-in-law, Kenneth "Tiny" Mondin, and Hilmar L. Mondin and wife Margarett all of Seguin; sisters-in-law, Jo Carolyn Harborth and husband Leslie, and Lillian Mondin all of Seguin, and Fay McKinney and husband Fred of Seadrift, Texas; numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, and cousins, along with many friends he referred to as "family" and a host of other friends. A special thanks goes out to all who have given their time to support his loving wife at this time of a great loss to her.
