Robert Eric Threet passed away on September 2, 2024, in Seguin, Texas, at the age of 67.  He was born on October 16, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas, to William H. and Irmgard Hobratschk Threet.

Eric was a USN veteran who served from 1975 through 1983. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill, his paternal grandparents, William and Claudia Lovett Threet, and his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Selma Hohle Hobratschk. He is survived by his mother, Irmie Threet; sister, Kathy Nossaman, and her husband, Warren; brother, John Threet, and his wife, Kay, and their daughters, Emily Threet Durst and Libby Chernuta.

Eric moved to Seguin in 2011, working as the caregiver for his mother.

Per Eric's request, a private service will be held at a later date with interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
