Robert "Bob" Williams, age 83 of McQueeney, passed away on August 22, 2019. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Private interment will be held at a later date.  Bob was born on December 17, 1935 in La Feria, Texas to Buddy Williams and Polly Pennington Williams White. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon Williams, his granddaughter, Jennifer Williams McClure, his parents, his brother, Wayne Williams and his sister Jan Williams Roberson. Survivors include his son, Darrell Wayne Williams and wife Sherry; granddaughter, LuCretia Adams; great-granddaughter, Madelynn Adams; great-grandson, Devin Williams-McClure; special friends, Brenda and Freddie Lopez; brothers-in-law, Larry Southwick and wife Karen, John Elser and wife Trish, Don Elser, and James Elser and wife Jenn; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
