Robert Lee Zoboroski, age 67 of Seguin, passed away on November 11, 2008. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at Tres Hewell Mortuary with the family receiving friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville and Chaplain Jeremy Roy officiating. Graveside services and interment under the auspices of American Legion H.U. Wood Post #245, The Seguin Police Department and Guadalupe Lodge #109 A.F. & A.M. will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Robert was born on November 17, 1940 in Seguin, Texas to Albert August and Edna Schul Zoboroski. His father precedes him in death. Robert retired from the Seguin Police Dept. as Assistant Chief of Police after 37 years of service. Recently, he worked for Seguin Housing Authority. He was active as a mason and belonged to the American Legion H.U. Wood Post #245. He served in the United States Army National Guard. Robert loved his family and friends, the Spurs and being with his grandchildren. He was a people person who was happy to sit and be among a crowd. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Constance E. (Connie) Zoboroski; daughter, Kelly Pfluger and husband, Jon; sons, Brent Zoboroski and wife, Laura and Morgan Zoboroski; grandchildren, Bobby and J.R. Pfluger; mother, Edna Zoboroski; sisters, Bonnie Ferguson and husband, Tommy, Shirley Zoboroski, and Mary Canon; brothers, Mark Zoboroski and wife, Peggy, Lonnie Zoboroski and Jan Varnes and Johnny Zoboroski and wife, Sandy; aunts, Ruby Zoboroski and Clara Zoboroski ; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and friends. Serving as active pallbearers include: E.C. Turner, Jeff Schneider, Darrell Hunter, Reno Reiley, Fritz Bohne, Pete Kallies, Gary Hopper, Bob Machemehl, Woody Ellis and Steven Franklin. Honorary pallbearers include the Seguin Police Department, the Masons, City and County Officials and the Seguin Housing Authority. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 1314 E.
