Roman H. Busch, age 75 of Seguin, passed away on October 9, 2014. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 2p.m. with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Roman was born in New Braunfels, Texas on January 9, 1939 to Richard Busch and Hilda (Wahl) Staats Busch. He retired as a department head from Mission Valley Mills in New Braunfels after 43 years. He was a member of Cross Church. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening, wood working and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Ryan Busch, his parents, his brothers, Robert Busch, Reuben Busch, Gilbert Staats, and Edgar Staats, and his sister, Olivia Schorn. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Roselyn Schneider Busch; daughter, Kim Simmons and husband Craig; grandson, Tyler Simmons; brother, Marvin Staats; sisters-in-law, Frances Busch, Shirley Schneider and Sylvia Schneider; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Froeboese, Wayne Vetter, Douglas Staats, Jaden Staats, Roger Bormann and Delvin Weber. Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Church Memorial Fund, 814 N.
