Ronalda "Ronnie" Laqua, age 72 of Seguin, joined her beloved fur babies in Heaven on Monday, July 13, 2020. Ronnie was born on June 15, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to Murray Sokoloff Frank and Constance Connie Fredericks. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Brent Wise. Survivors include her loving husband of 28 years, Vincent Laqua; daughter, Connie Wise; son Jon Hager and wife Leslie; the father of her children, Donald Hager; granddaughter, Bianca Hager; grand-pups, Emma and Sadie; sister, Edanya "Gael" Votens and husband Boyd; parents-in-law, Leroy and Flora Schenick, Shirley Laqua; brothers-in-law, Lester Laqua and wife Lisa, Corey and Cameron Laqua; sister-in-law, Carey Laqua; her best friend, Jerilyn Schmidt; as well as her beloved pups, Duchess and Trixie; numerous other loving family members and many many friends. Ronnie will always be remembered for her kind heart and her glowing smile. Every person that came into her life was instantly touched by her because of her beautiful energy. "Don't worry, I got it handled" is a phrase that her family will smile at often because she was just that type of person, her strong caring nature was just one of the many reasons everyone loved her. Ronnie never ran into stranger, just a friend she hadn't met yet. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Due to the COVID-19 virus, a memorial service will be planned at a later time.
