It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Roxana Herrera, 30 of Seguin, Texas on February 6, 2024.  Roxana was born October 14, 1993, in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Roxana is preceded in death by her aunt, Leilani Herrera.

She is survived by her husband, Alex Carrillo; mother, Silvia Herrera; father Alberto Herrera; children, Alejandro Carrillo, Jr., Ma'Lanie Carrillo, Ma'Rhianna Carrillo and Ma'Ellie Carrillo; siblings, Abel Herrera (Jess), Cecilia Lopez (Danny), Roberto Herrera (Jackie) and Alberto Herrera; mother and father-in-law, Guadalupe and Jose M. Carrillo, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Blanca Carrillo and Leonor Bryant (Glenn); brother-in-law; Jacob Carrillo and Jose M. Carrillo, Jr. (Yudy); close cousins Kassandra and Alejandra Molina, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends.

Roxana was a free spirit. She was a very determined woman, and she would research anything she didn't know until she found an answer. She loved and cherished her kids to the moon and back. She never was a person to argue, she was always known to use her words to find a solution to the problem. Roxana was a person who would put others before herself and always strived to do the right things in life. She was an adventurous person. Her mac and cheese was her prize dish that she loved and loved to create for her family and friends. Roxana enjoyed doing nails on her family and was a perfectionist in every detail.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 16, 2024, from 4 -8 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. officiated by Minister Julio Caesar Carrillo at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. officiated by Minister Julio Caesar Carrillo at Tres Hewell Mortuary.
