Royce Harborth, age 63 of Geronimo, passed away on April 3, 2017.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 4 to 6 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Friedens Church with Pastors Sonja and Dave Phillips officiating.
Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
A reception will follow at the Texas Agricultural Education and Heritage Center (The Big Red Barn).
Royce was born on June 16, 1953 in Seguin Texas to Henry W. and Eleanor (Schneider) Harborth.
He was a 1971 graduate of Navarro High School.
He was a longtime salesman at Soechting Motors.
He was a member of Friedens Church and an active member of the Hill Country Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association.
Royce loved hunting and fishing and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Royce is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving daughters, Rebecca Wieland and Rachel Scott and husband P. J.; grandchildren, Tyler Scott, Kaytlyn Scott and fiancé James Odom, Chad Wieland, and Brooke Wieland; sister, Ronina Anderson; nieces, Gillynn and Jaclyn Anderson; friend and mother of his children, Vicky Burmeister and husband Daniel; uncles, Melvin Harborth and wife Betty, Robert Harborth and wife Sandi, Frank Harborth, Leroy Harborth and wife Bernice; aunt, Jane Schneider; numerous cousins, other loving family members and many friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Redmon, Russell Bading, William Maierhofer, Donnie Hollub, Scott Carley, Rodger Koehler, Dwayne Thormahlen, and Chandler Schlueter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Engelke, Miles Engelke, Clay Hollub, Tim Dudley, Tony Herrera, Kevin Krueger, Ryan Gonzales, and Dr. Randall Sullivan.
