Ruben Marcus Pe ñ a, age 43 of Seguin, passed away on February 11, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Living Waters Worship Center in Seguin, with Rev. Paul Mason and Rev. Ed Bilderback officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Ruben was born August 12, 1973 in Seguin to Fructoso Pe ñ a and Mary Ann Sandoval. He was a homeschool dad, basketball coach and mentor to the children and youth at Living Waters Worship Center. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Valerie Pe ñ a; son Juan Marcus Pe ñ a age 18; daughter Abigial Pe ñ a age 16; Mother Mary Ann Sandoval; father, Fructoso Pe ñ a; siblings, Mary Jane Leal and husband Catarino, Prescilla Wallek and husband Bryan, Claudia Ybarra and husband Albert, Odalis Perez Pe ñ a and husband Manuel Perez and Omar Pe ñ a and many other family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers include James Sandoval, Bobby Sandoval, Christian Gomez, Marvin Venus, David Cisneros, Robert De Leon and Louie De Leon and Catarino Leal.
