Russell L. Seiler, age 93 of Seguin, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Russell was born on January 2, 1932, in Edna, Texas to Walter and Annie (Hessong) Seiler. Russell proudly served in the United States Marines Corps as a Sergeant.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Walter Seiler, Jr.  Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Dorothy Seiler; children, Linda Knowles (Richard), David Seiler, Barbara Hewitt (Greg), Michael Seiler (Debra) and Jeffery Seiler (Tracie); grandchildren, Jason Hewitt (Heather), Michelle Seiler, Donna Daniel (Mike), Russell Seiler, Brent Seiler, Alexandria Seiler, and Catherine Seiler; seven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members, and many friends.

Russell will be remembered for his careers as an Ironworker and Christmas tree and pecan farmer. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and he adored traveling with his family to all parts of the United States. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 9 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary, the service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Interment will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
