Ruth Marie Gollick Mehrens, age 74 of Seguin, passed away on January 29, 2010. Visitation will begin Monday, February 1, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends at 6:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by the recitation of the rosary at 6:30 p.m. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 510 S. Camp, Seguin, Texas, with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Interment will be held in Anaconda, Montana at a later date. Ruth was born on September 11, 1935 in Anaconda, Montana to Anthony Roc and Mildred May Jones Gollick. She retired from HEB and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #16 in Anaconda, Montana. Her husband, James "Leo" Mehrens and her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters, Vibiana Schulle and husband Don, Margaret McKinney, Rita Schuenemann and husband Mark; son, Mark Mehrens and wife Michelle; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret E.
