Ruth Harborth, age 84 of Kingsbury, passed away on March 8, 2009. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Evangelists' Lutheran Church in Kingsbury with Pastor Duane Bamsch officiating. Interment will follow in Kingsbury Cemetery. Ruth was born on March 29, 1924 in Seymore, Texas to William Claud and Erma Fay Barnett Allen. Her sons, Carroll Clyde Vincent and Johnny Vincent, her parents and her siblings, Edsel Allen, Lovie Woerndell, Bonnie Mae Allen, and Lewis Witzel Allen all precede her in death. Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Melvin "Cracker" Harborth, children, M.C. Vincent and wife, Marva Sue, Jowan Jahns, William "Bill" Harborth and wife, Nancy, Edna Barnett, Melvin Ray Harborth and wife, Kathleen, Harvey Harborth and wife, Barbara; brother, Johney Allen and wife, Marilyn; sisters, Beatrice Yeats and partner, Al Barnett, Claudette Barnett and husband, William "Bill" and Vida "Red" Whittaker and husband, Bill; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
