Ruth Davidson Howell, age 99 of Seguin passed away on August 29, 2019. Ruth was born on February 24, 1920 in Stella, Arkansas to Troy and Effie (Felt) Davidson. Ruth was a member of First United Methodist Church in Seguin where she was a member of the Ruth Circle. Other memberships included the Delphian Study Club and the Lazy Daisy Garden Club. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Howell, her parents, her brothers Ray, Tommy and Felts Davidson, her sisters, Veda Willborn and Velma Trafford, and her son-in-law, John (Tommy) Brannan. Survivors include her son, Charles (Chuck) Howell, Jr. and wife Linda; daughter, Susan Brannan; grandchildren, Charles Howell III and wife Rachel, Christen Johnson and husband Dave, Catherine Pagel and husband Danny, John Brannan IV and wife Anne, and Robert Howell Brannan and wife Jeannie; great-grandchildren, Austin, Jonathan, Grant, Audrey, Piper, Tate, Georgia, Taylor and Michael; sister, Ruby Sisk; brother, T.H. Davidson and wife Jessie Lynn; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. Private graveside service and interment will be held for the family at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
