Ruth Patricia (Pat) Law, age 79 of Seguin, passed away on April 28, 2016. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Cross Church with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Pat was born on May 14, 1936 in Seguin Texas to Nolan and Elva (Dittmar) Harborth. Growing up in Geronimo, she attended Navarro Schools through the tenth grade and was a graduate of the Seguin High School Class of 1954. She graduated from Southwest Texas State Teachers College (now Texas State University) and later received her Master's Degree from University of Houston at Clear Lake. Her twenty plus year teaching career began as a physical education teacher and coach and ended as an early child educator in kindergarten at Bowie Elementary in Rosenberg, Texas. She was an active member of Cross Church, an active member of Church Women United and Bible Study Fellowship in New Braunfels. She enjoyed her Chicks of 54 lunch meetings and she and Jim enjoyed traveling and both served as tour guides for Elsie's Tours. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, James (Jim) Anderson Law and her parents. Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Law and Jay Law and wife, Jill; grandchildren, Shelby, Pierce and Chloe Law; sister, Judy Phillips and husband Jerry; brothers, Paul Harborth and wife Barbara, and William "Buddy" Harborth and wife Arlene; brother-in-law, Harvey DeHarde and wife, Sandra; aunts-in-law, Dorothy Anderson and Mary DeHarde; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Les Davis, Brandon Davis, Steven Davis, Scott Smith, Chris Ambrosio, Keith Roberts, and Ben Hornbuckle. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill McAvoy, Jon Phillips, Joe Jones, and Jacques Roelofse. Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Church Memorial Fund, 814 N.
