Ruth N. Reneau, age 93 of Seguin, passed away on January 7, 2010. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 3 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Assembly of God Church with Rev. Don Wiehe officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Ruth was born on February 5, 1916 in Luling, Texas to Richard Sinclair and Lura Lea Allen Nickell. She helped found Reneau Brothers along with her husband and his brothers. She enjoyed dominoes, skip-bo and deer hunting. She and her Argent Court friends were avid San Antonio Spurs Fans. Her husband, D. W. (Twin) Reneau, her grandson, Vernon Darryl Hahn, her parents, three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include her loving daughter, Nelda Hahn and husband Vernon; granddaughters, Cheryl McLean and husband Myron and Sheila Hahn Hoffmann and husband Larry; great-granddaughters, Christie Hurt and husband Nathan and Casey Cuellar; great-great grandson, Brayden Hurt; sister, Margie Rawlinson; numerous nieces and nephews.
