Ruth Anne Schievelbein Tatom

Ruth Anne Schievelbein Tatom, age 81 of Seguin, passed away on May 19, 2026. Ruth was born in New Braunfels, Texas on May 5, 1945, to Mary Louise (Bridges) and Edward Emil Schievelbein.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Edward “Skip” Schievelbein, and her sister, Faye Jubela.

Survivors include her loving life partner, Robert “Pee Wee” Perez; daughters, Karen Bohannon, Heather Tatom, and Stacy Tatom and husband Craig Marshall; grandchildren, Courtney Austin and husband Samuel, Andrew Bohannon, Katie Rogers, Elizabeth Bohannon and husband Skylar Horvath, Artem Marshall, and Theodore Marshall; great grandchildren, Kyle Austin and Jack Austin; sister, Ellen Schmidt; brothers, Glenn Schievelbein, Albert Schievelbein, and Larry Schievelbein; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin Friday, May 29, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by a memorial service celebrating her life at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Tom Jones officiating.
