Ruth Alleene (Couch) Stephenson age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Seguin surrounded by family on April 2, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10:00 am at Cross Church Rev. Jim Price officiating. A private inurnment will follow at a later date at San Geronimo Cemetery. Alleene was born on June 30, 1927 in Eagletown, Oklahoma to Jimmy Jackson and Mae Belle (Davis) Couch. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Billy W. Stephenson, her parents, her brother, Leston Couch and his wife Gracie, and her brother-in-law, Edward McCoskey. She is survived by her sister, Bonnie McCoskey; her son, Jimmy Wayne Stephenson and wife Vanette; her daughter, Debra Jahns and husband Larry; her grandchildren Stepheny Kelso and Kurt, Angela Smith and Mark Green, Billy Stephenson, Jory Jahns, Dusty Jahns and Jamie; her great-grandchildren Konni Kelso, Karson Kelso, Kase Kelso, Hunter Rust, Madison Smith, Chrystina Green, Cheney Stephenson, Chandler Stephenson, Riley Jahns and Lily Jahns; her wonderful caregiver, Brandi Garcia, as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
