Ruth S. Thomas, age 65 of Seguin, passed away on October 29, 2010. Memorial services will be held on Saturday November 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at SouthPoint Baptist Family Fellowship with Rev. James Shurley officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Private interment will be held at a later date at Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio. Ruth was born on October 3, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas to Charles D. and Mary Louise Teneyuca Steinman. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas, her daughter, Santa Thomas, parents, brother, Charles Steinman, sister, Mary S. Anaya and brother-in-law, James S. Savoy. Survivors include her sisters, Ann S. Vander Wey and husband Clarence and Martha S. Savoy; numerous nieces and nephews.
