Ruth V. Villarreal of Seguin, passed away on April 15, 2016 at the age of 91. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 3 to 5 pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral Services and interment will be held in Brownsville, Texas under the direction of Treviño Funeral Home on Old Port Isabel Road. Ruth was born on April 12, 1925 in Bastrop, Texas to Crisostomo and Maria (Sanchez) Valerio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sostenes Villarreal; children Ruth Moreno, Loida Villarreal; siblings Antonio Valerio, Francisca Solis, Martha Romero, Esther García. Survivors include her children Benito Villarreal and wife Magdalena, Miroslava Villarreal, Enedelia Espinoza and husband Matilde; Nancy Gonzalez and husband José, Marisa Villarreal, Jaime Villarreal, Hector Villarreal, and wife Laura, Minerva Cuvillier and husband Robert; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Raul Valerio, Minerva DeLeón, Rev. Eliás Valerio and wife Carmen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members.
