Ruth "Bunny" Voss age 82, of Geronimo, passed away on January 14, 2017. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11 AM at Friedens Church with Pastors Sonja and Dave Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Bunny was born on September 7, 1934 in Geronimo Texas to Edwin and Selma (Grimm) Jubela. Bunny worked in banking over 30 years, in the loan department at Seguin State Bank, and State Bank in San Marcos. When she wasn't working, Bunny loved animals, and spent her free time volunteering at the Humane Society. She also loved to garden, and bake, sew, and bowl 9 pin. But, more than anything, Bunny loved to spend time with her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Danley Voss; her parents; brother, Nelson Jubela; sister, Dorothy Mae George; and her son-in-law, Jimmy McBride; brothers-in-law, Edsel Voss and Lenier Voss. Bunny is survived by her children, Sally McBride and fiancé Gary Bennett, Jenny Voss, Cindy Voss and husband, Ted, and Daniel Voss and wife, Shirley Smith; grandchildren, Jacob Voss, Shannon McBride and wife Melissa, Brandon McBride and wife Yvette, Michele Boyd and husband Justin, Valerie Logsdon and husband Jeremy, Amy Earls, Ashley Voss, Garrett Voss, and Westin Voss; great-grandchildren, Angelina, Madalyn, Adilynn, Shannyn, Myranda, Marissa, Anthony, Daeshja, Aaliyah, Allyssa, Melody, Bailey, Hannah, and Noah; sisters-in-law, Betty Revard, and Nan Voss; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Shannon McBride, Brandon McBride, Garrett Voss, Westin Voss, Anthony Henley, and Bailey Logsdon.
