Ryan Jay Sklencar, age 24 of McQueeney, Texas, passed away on August 22, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10 a.m. at The Country Church in Marion with Pastor Butch Ikels officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Ryan was born on July 18, 1993 in San Antonio Texas to Frank Sklencar and Deidra (Donley) Blakely. He was a graduate of Seguin High School Class of 2011. Active member of the Seguin Matador Basketball and Track Team. He also enjoyed playing basketball with his family members. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior while attending Castle Hills First Baptist Church. He graduated from UTI Diesel and Mechanic school where he was in the top ten in his class and also maintained perfect attendance. He was currently working at FTS International as a Senior Mechanic. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leonard Sklencar and Keith Donley. Survivors include his precious daughter, Rylan Mae Sklencar; fiancé, Delilah Vasquez; father, Frank Sklencar and wife Cindee; mother, Deidra Blakely and husband Brian; brothers, Casey Blakely, Dillon Blakely, Spencer Blakely, Steven Blakely, Jonathan Gardner and wife Bailie; sister, Michelle Gardner; grandparents, Doris Sklencar, Susan and James Garrett; uncles, Brad Sklencar and wife Melanie, Todd Sklencar and wife Patti; special great-aunt, Elizabeth Sklencar; numerous other great aunts and great uncles, many cousins, many other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Jividen, Jonathan Gardner, Steven Blakely, Spencer Blakely, Casey Blakely and Dillon Blakely.
