Sandra "Sandy" Alene Allman

Sandra “Sandy” Alene Elder Allman, age 83 of La Vernia, passed away on April 5, 2026. Sandy was born on November 23, 1942, in Guadalupe County, Texas to Gertrude (Miller) and Willie Jefferson Elder.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Finley “Bubba” Elder, Inez Elder, Ann Morris, Willie Elder, and Mary Spring, and son-in-law, Tony “Wetback” Galvan.

Survivors include her children, Shari Galvan, Kevin Allman and Brian Allman and fiancé Stacy Johnston; grandchildren, Brandon Galvan, Crystal Galvan, Tyler Allman, Cade Allman, Elli Allman, Chelsea Allman, McKenzie Kaczmarek and husband Kolby and Jake Johnston; great-grandchildren, Dalton Beeman and fiancé Joby Fahey, Lincoln Galvan, Jasper Galvan, Hadley Kaczmarek, and Georgia Lynn Kaczmarek; numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Bernard Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the San Geronimo Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Allman, Brandon Galvan, Cade Allman, Tyler Savage, David Baker and Dalton Beeman.
